How to clean up SH wound?

I just SH'ed for the first time and im wondering whats the best way to stop the bleeding?

Direct, firm pressure with cloth or gauze. Hold for 15-20 min and resist the urge to lift the cloth to look at it or it'll start bleeding again. Keep the area slightly elevated if possible

wash with cool and flowing water and put clean bandage / tape / etc stuff on
depends on how deep ur cut is, I usually left mine on for 24h, or at least overnight, I think one time I took it off 8h later and it started bleeding again as mentioned above.

most important is that its clean, you can use alcohol but flowing water should do just fine.
should probably clean the area you want to cut as well as the blade before you do it too the next time.

also if it's deep you can use steristrips to close the wound so it heals better and less of a scar
