Sadly, the answer is yes. Even with the addition of pills in your system, the human body is a bitch and wants to survive.

Think about it. Water is likely to enter most of your orifices. The pressure of ocean water also increases with depth. You're likely to panic. That's why some people choose to drown via car (unable to escape) or carrying weighted objects.

I almost drowned once when I was a kid (not a suicide attempt) and it is indeed extremely painful and uncomfortable. If that's a big issue for you definitely don't go forward with this method.

so
Yeah its 79 in agony score. But maybe it Will be my method.

I dont think the agony Will be 40 minutes tho.
I don't think you will be conscious for 40 minutes, it dont make sense, loc should occur at 5 minutes max imo.
so just 5 minutes of agony?that does not sound too bad if you ask me

to me 3 seconds , 10 seconds , hell even 1 second of that agony nothing is worth it . well none of the things they say are so "good" and enjoyable pleasurable . i tried holding my breath and it got so painful i tried as hard as i could but couldn't keep holding it i had to breathe. but in drowning or suffocating you can't breathe the pain will just keep getting worse every second .

although 3 seconds of that agony for eternal Non-Existence maybe but i don't know how bad it can get. i know when i held my breath the pain where it became excruciating and i tried everything to keep holding it every 1/10 second kept increasing imo a million times worse . but then i couldn't take it and breathed but i assume in drowning it wll keep getting worse every second and you can't breathe. i can't imagine the hell if i wouldn't have been able to take that breath then and was submerged under water and the pain kept increasing every second getting worse every second for another 5 minutes . if that's what it is who knows could be 7 minutes until you are out unconscious but 5 minutes 3 minutes is too much for me .

it's unimaginable how the brain can create such pain just to keep this husk of cells alive to continue suffering laboring as a slave risking even worse extreme torture.

however there is a method called shallow water blackout or something which is i think is relatively painless is performed correctly . but this requires a lot of practice. there are few threads on this site about it. it's drowning but they blackout quick pass out quik.

JUmp from a tall building:----This I will never be able to do because i do not have so much courage. My biggest fear is failing the jumping then ending up incapacitated

How much discomfort can you get from shooting yourself? If you hit your brainstem, you die almost instantly and your brain won't be even able to register pain; but if you hit your abdomen instead, your death will likely be relatively slow and painful. So we can't actually say how painful "shooting yourself" is without considering how exactly this abstract method performed. Similarly for drowning. You can do it in some worst possible way causing significant discomfort or follow some best protocol that ensures fast loss of consciousness and minimum discomfort.
WILL he experience agony for 40 minutes before his consciousness is snuffed out.
It's unlikely that you would remain conscious after 5 minutes of submerging. With best sedation protocols, loss of consciousness can be achieved in about 30 seconds.

Unless you're banned in Google and other web search sites, you could do your own research. For example, according to this resource,
Going without oxygen has a rapid effect on the body.
  • Within 3 minutes underwater, most people lose consciousness.
  • Within 5 minutes underwater, the brain's oxygen supply starts to drop. A lack of oxygen can cause brain damage.
For an average human, the body consumes about 0.25 liters of oxygen per minute at rest, the blood carries about 1 liter of oxygen, and the lungs may hold up to 5 - 6 liters of air containing 1 - 1.2 liters of oxygen after hyperventilation followed by maximum inhale. Obviously, such oxygen reserves are insufficient for supporting normal metabolism during 40 minutes.

My longest breath holding after hyperventilation ended with maximum inhale was about 4 minutes, after which my consciousness started to fade. If I had my lungs filled with water instead of air, clouding of consciousness could be expected sooner.

I will choose this method then

To not feel agony during the 5 minutes shall i take sedatives.

Also shall i jump into a cold water or warm water

Also, what about jumping from from a very tall height.
to water.Would that make death instantaneous and not have to deal with agony of 5 death before death

I'm skeptical about taking oral sedatives, because most of them take effect too slowly. Inhalational methods are more efficient

Cold water can cause painful muscle cramps and increase time to death.
Also, what about jumping from from a very tall height.

That would increase the risk of attracting needless attention, and there would be a possibility of being rescued with mechanical trauma.

But wouldn't jumping from a tall height make death instantaneous

I think, that depends on your initial relative altitude to the water surface and your orientation. Look at this guy

I guess, he didn't get significant trauma from the fall, but you want a trauma that would cause instantaneous death. How much different would your jump have to be in order to achieve such a goal?
