How mentally old do you feel?

I'll be 21 in 2 months, yet I feel like I'm still a teenager.

I am 21 and I still look and feel like a teenager, lol. Honestly, I do think it would be nice to try and mature a little but before I ctb. I want to feel like a woman but I still feel like a girl and people also see me as one too (probably because I have a baby face, along with my quiet and innocent demeanour).

Can relate, I'll be 22 soon and my trauma stunted my emotional growth so now I'm in my 20s with the emotional intelligence of a 16yo and trying to figure out how to be an adult, sometimes I forget i'm not a teen anymore and the pandemic definitely hasn't helped a bit with it lol

Of course, I'm wasting my life at the moment and I should be thinking very seriously about the future, but I won't be there in the future.

My peers are doing something specific in their lives and have plans for the future.
My only plan right now is to die.

I'm not progressing at all, so I'm behind other people my age.

So I feel normal for my age, but I know I should be in a much different place in my life now.

For the most part somewhere between 16 and 25, but then IRL I'll lecture someone about not wearing their seatbelt or something and it hits home how ancient I am. I literally did this the other day. I was like "do you know what a crash trajectory is like? You'll go straight out the front windshield" and then I strongly disliked myself for a few minutes. Bingo also quite appeals to me now, sadly.

54, but feel in my 20s, probably due to serious addictions to caffeine, nicotine, and Kratom.. the nice thing is Idrc if its bad for me in the long run, for obvious reasons, but rather live in the moment without much concern for any future ill likely not even have anyway.. I see others my age, and WOW! They look and act really old! they're all stressed and anxious about retirement! Haha.

I used to do all those parenting things with my kids when they were young, like telling them to wear their helmets when riding bikes, etc. But then one day I thought .. Wait a minute!?!? felt old as hell. Haha.

But in all seriousness, I feel like a child or a teen, sometimes a younger one and other times an older one. I'm in my early 20's, as such, those phases of my life aren't too far away compared to if I was, say, 40. But I still feel very immature, ignorant and childlike. I've learned how to do many things on my own and I'm still learning, but I feel like I'll never be able to face life as a whole, which deepens those feelings of childhood/adolescence. Sometimes they give me some comfort, and other times they make me feel hopeless, pathetic, weak.​

I've always felt significantly older than I am, but apparently I come across as significantly younger than I am. So, I guess I feel 10 to 15 years older than my actual age, but most people think I'm 10 to 15 years younger. I also have been known to have the maturity of a 12 year old.
