My life can said to be one of delayed gratification. Except the gratification that was to come was stolen. In its place misery, hopelessness, pain, loneliness, homelessness etc... So no. Most of my life hasn't been happy. In fact very few moments in my life can be described as such. I was good at living for those moments. But those moments have been essentially been rendered extinct. There simply wasn't enough to warrant living. And there really isn't now. So no. If I could choose I wouldn't have lived. On every given day thousands of abortions in this country happen. I wish me and one of those had changed places so they could've had a life. Maybe they would've been able to find any real measure of happiness. Or at the very least society would've saw some value in them as a human being.
