• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

I want to secure myself so I won't abandon. For this, my plan is: put on the hood → secure left hand → turn on the valve with the right hand → secure right hand

Given that there's poor visibility, I need time (also because my motor skills are slow).

How long it takes (assuming breathing normally and the hood had oxygen when was put on) before one goes unconscious?

Will tachycardia kick in before going unconscious?

Less than a minute, as per Greenberg

Unsure if gpt answers are allowed here. Though, I asked and it seems once you go below 80% or 70% oxygen level, unconsciousness kicks in. Tachycardia MAY kick in prior to that. It depends on various factors like age and health etc.

It's very likely, though, from what I understand as the body tries to compensate for the lack of oxygen. So as the oxygen level drops, the body tries more and more until you go unconscious and unable to notice it anymore. 🙂

As an anxious person, I'm sure I'll have tachycardia before it kicks in (it's defined as having more than 100bpm). Will it get worse before I go unconscious? Probably. If I've time to secure myself it won't make a difference. My only hope is that it won't happen badly (i.e. not much of a difference in heart rate) before I'm able to secure myself and, ideally, before I go unconscious.

This 27th, I'll tell my doctor to stop the treatment. Hopefully I'll deal better with si afterwards which is why I abandoned my first attempt. 🙂👍🏻

I've seen people getting high from inhaling nitrous oxide while their heart rate raised to 140 and 150 BPM. They didn't look concerned about their tachycardia at all ))) The videos are available on Drugslab YT channel. Maybe you should try something like this for your relaxation.

And there is an obvious way to avoid nitrogen gas asphyxiation for a minute or more - just don't breathe )) I can hold my breath for about 2.5 minutes, having 1-minute hyperventilation done beforehand.

Unfortunately, getting high doesn't calm me down. It does the opposite.

Holding my breath I can only do for a few seconds due to health reasons.
