It depends on your hanging position to lose your consciousness. Hanging is quick death if u hang in there. There are also esposides where people call for help because their head is exploding.

I think that means the feeling you will experience from all of your blood accumulated in your head under pressure with no place to go because the rope is cutting off your circulation.

Honestly, really haven't thought about it, since I've removed hanging from my list of potential methods of ctb. I suppose someone could get the rope around their neck and take some kind of sleeping pills or something....whatever.....something to knock them out while standing on a chair, or however they're doing their hanging. Maybe that way you'd be passed out and "fall" off the chair before experiencing the head pressure, but, I'm really not sure. I don't think hanging is the most peaceful way to go. The reason I removed it from my list of potentials. I'm looking fro something more peaceful.
Depends what kind of hanging method. Suspension hanging usually takes at least 10 seconds to lose consciousness. But a full drop hanging will make you lose consciousness immediately, but there's no backing out from a full drop hanging.
