How long do you take to pass out on SN?

I'm planning to combine SN with partial hanging to make sure that I don't survive. I'd like to hang myself only a couple of minutes before I'd pass out from the SN, so that if the rope breaks I can hopefully stay passed out and just die from the SN. About how long should I take the SN before hanging myself?

Why not just make sure that you use a rope that won't break ?

I believe it would diminish the effect of SN but no one really seems to know for sure, but I want to figure it out.

Chemically it does nothing to SN. The medical procedure to reverse SN poisoning is to give oxygen and methylene blue. Having alcohol in your stomach can change the acid level in your stomach which could undo the whole process of taking the antacid part of the regime. Having a 6 pack in your stomach could mean that the SN would take a lot longer to get into your system which means the methemoglobin which is what you want out of the process could be metabolised back to haemoglobin which is what you don't want. The process works by overloading the biological system as quickly as possible as not to let the natural metabolic process from undoing the poisoning. Having a 6 pack in your stomach could increase the chance of you vomiting.

Right I agree. It is the "could's" I am trying to quantify. I think I'll probably try to upgrade to N since I think alcohol won't interfere with the process as much with SN.

Yeah, I bet 10-15 g is the right amount to balance leathality and vomiting. I'd probably go with 15-20 g to err on the side of death until more information is available.

Everyone has different tolerances. There is medical evidence through autopsies and case notes outside of this site that says people have died with less but I would say for that weight of human, 10gm will be more than enough

Has anyone been able to find posted confirmation that PN changed the recommended dose to 25g? His videos and the updated PPeH take a long time to get here, so any kind of direct quote from him would be helpful.

i have been biting my tongue on this subject for a while as I am an avid researcher of SN as it is my method. I am really disappointed that people have not seen that the method outlined in the current protocol does work. Only this week we have had 2 people passing through it with one meticulously recording what they did to help others. We really need to try and avoid doing this as it really confuses people and increases the likelihood that they will have a failed attempt. SN is not an exact science but one thing for sure is that it will do the job. Some people may take 3 minutes to reach unconsciousness, some may take a lot longer. Some may pass in 40 minutes, some may take hours. But my advice to anyone in doubt is to look at the method outlined in the first page of the SN megathread as its been proven

Edit: Why wouldn't this cause vomiting? Recommendation started at 10g and has been raised to 15, 20 and now 25.

I have just watched the relevant section of the video, great find by the way and thanks for sharing it. I have looked at a lot of medical resources outside of this site and from my lowly informed opinion, 25gm is huge! They do admit to a lot of this being theoretical in some parts as they are basing it on 6 observed deaths.

25g is a lot. Is there any changes to the recommended amount of water to dissolve it in? I think I'm going to make 2 batches in case the meto fails and I throw up the first batch. Failure is not an option here.

My thoughts about SN have not changed as its the easiest most cost effective way for me to ctb and I have it all anyways now. But those who are also doing this, as well as the catalogued events on this site there are a few good verified resource places outside of here, google is your friend.
