  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I know people have difficulty closing the carotids with partial...I do too, sometimes...but, what scares me is that some people say that even with full it is possible that carotids wont close and you die of choking...

How is that possible? I mean, it takes way more pressure to compress the trachea than the carotids...if your trachea gets closed, your carotids will most definitely close too..

If the noose doesn't close fully then it may end up acting as a fixed loop. This could mean an air choke, but I'm not really sure about any of this. The carotids are more to the side, so if pressure is only applied to the front they might not get closed I'm guessing.

By air choke, do ppl mean a compressed trachea?
