How high is required to die

How big does the fall need to be if you fall on your back. There's a cliff nearby me that I'm think of but don't want to end up with all my bones broke and nothing to show for it. Last resort tho I'm really trying to get past this but I might not make it past February

It depends on how the impact goes, what expects you at the bottom and how tall the fall would be, as it is hard to tell by just text.

Id say always go for landing head first to minimize pain and shorten time of death. But there are better methods which are more "efficient"

There are instances of people's parachutes not going off when jumping from planes and still surviving. Nothing is ever 100%

Now, not being found after falling from a cliff will certainly kill you, but the chances are you'll be in a lot of pain. I genuinely suggest a different method.

it really depends on how high the cliff is, i would recommend something else if it's not so high for example airport parking lots, cause that means a higher chance of surviving the fall. I hope you find the peace you've been looking for soon.
