I imagine full suspension has a high success rate. All you need a rope that will support your weight, not break, a post that will support your weight and more (and that is taller than you), tying the knots securely, and not being found in time.
Does anyone know what the success rate for partial is? Assuming you use the proper ligature, knots, and support? My only concern is convulsing into a position that relieves the pressure of the noose. What are the chances of that happening?
My preferred method is full but partial is a backup if I'm unable to find something to do full suspension on.
