Discussion How do you self-harm?

I used to only cut, but lately I burn, too. I try to keep enough of the dressings with the self adhesive bit around the edge in, but sometimes I run out. I get paranoid about infection, especially in the burns, but not paranoid enough to stop.

Bit hard to clean up after my last one (Jan 2020). I was hoping to get sectioned - didn't happen.

Holy hell, that's a nasty one. I tried to cut a toe off with a pair of bolt cutters, luckily I was caught by my room mate before I could do it.

I was blacked out on Xanax at the time and managed to force a screwdriver in one side of my arm and out the other before moving on to the attempted amputation.

What was the aftermath if you don't mind me asking? Did it get re attached?
