I respond to anger differently depending who or what I'm angry at.
If I'm angry at a person, I'm usually violent, yell or to maintain my anger.
if I'm angry at myself, or something I'm doing isn't working, I get violent towards myself. I also tend to break or throw things.

I can't exactly control myself well when I'm angry or frustrated, whatever I do just happens, and when I can control myself to a point, i try my best to calm down.
Im easily angered and have a short temper. I get annoyed easily. I try my best to leave the area if I'm angry at a person, to avoid violence.

I like reading all the solution people give here because lately I've been struggling with my anger issues often, most advice people give here could've worked!

Well... If only it's acceptable for people around me to do these to manage my anger..

Playing games would worked but I'm always in my workplace, which in the workplace I can't be on my phone for too long times if I'm being given a work to do because it have a deadlines

Listening to music worked the best, it is allowed in my workplace, but sometimes my Bluetooth headset will be running out of battery and I really hate it, plus a lot have already complained for me always having my headset on, which I found some of their reason is reasonable, but some is just blatantly insulting me and keep disturbing me even when I have my headphones on which just really worsened it all

Avoiding people I dislike? I can't unfortunately, they are people that work in the same place I work in, so of course I gotta deal with them everyday, even if I'm quitting this job, the workplace is near from the place I live in now, so I still had to see them and deal with them, which this made me want to move out to a new place if I could

Sit down and listen to a song you find relaxing, do boxing, exercise

I struggle with BPD and am currently in recovery. I tend to get these really intense bouts of rage and anger that often comes without warning and without a trigger

Does anyone have any tips on how to cope with anger or ways to calm yourself down?
If your BPD is a result of PTSD doing at home MDMA therapy can help if you find someone close by to trip sit you

I try to get extremely distracted either with loud music, game, or just try to go outside on the bike. On the worst occasion I just cry in my room and punch my pillows ;-;

So unfit now that two slams against the bedroom wall usually tires me out and thus turn the anger to sleepiness.
