I'm an incel, and in April 2023 an insanely intelligent and accomplished JP girl shot me a Reddit DM regarding my incel ideology. The conversation later on "changed my life" - she did ghost me in July, but the "damage had been done".
Then in Feb 2024, when she lay her spirit in the Sea of Trees, and I did a ritual, and another girl shot me a Reddit DM, and agreed to be my gf because every guy had been rejecting her for 15 years. I'm not sure whether it's going to work out, but we've been texting for 8 months now, so probably decent? Although to be frank, I'm not sure if I'm even made for relationships?

Met my partner at a mutual friend's birthday party. Everyone played an RPG and I kept looking across the room at my partner-to-be thinking, "That person seems so interesting. I want to hear more of what that person has to say." But the guy running the game wasn't good at keeping track of turns so I didn't get to hear much. I wanted to ask for partner-to-be's digits or social media but we'd barely spoken so I kept my wishes to myself.
Then mutual friend asked if I'd like to be used as reference art for another RPG they were running... the images would be used to reference the big bad... and I said sure. Friend said partner-to-be was a makeup artist and could make me look appropriately menacing. So there I am with this talented, attractive-to-me person peering into my face just a foot away. Carefully brushing my skin with makeup brushes and, oh god, very gently taking my chin in hand to turn my face this or that way. We did a photoshoot and I got to show off my talent, which was good because it increased my confidence enough to ask for partner-to-be's number. The rest is history.
I had this question in my head for a while. I assume that most SS users suffers from a lot of life difficulties, but the loneliness is always mentioned here. I was wondering if someone here has managed to go from a completely alone person (0 friends/partners) into getting a relationship

i met my boyfriend on tumblr... i don't think i've ever met a partner without it being online before. socializing in person is always hell for me, at least when still getting to know someone. having visited my boyfriend irl now, it was much less awkward/tense than if we had met irl at first.

I first knew them by similar interests, then we just started talking and talking more and things just happened. It's all online, they are also poly and have another partner, it doesn't bother me too much. I do wish I am able to meet them soon.

Longer relationships has been found online, not from dating apps though. One was from Discord server and one was from online chatting place. Shorter flings have been found from bars usually. None of those lasted very long though, as I'm still rolling single.

I started sexting random guys online and came across him. We started talking more casually for a bit but then I stopped stopped talking to him and all of the other guys I met in general for a few months. I eventually decided to text him and we started talking regularly again. He confessed his feelings for me and told me he wanted me to be his gf, but it took me some time to come to terms with my feelings for him and to get to a place where I felt ready to be in a relationship (he's my first bf).
