How do I hyperventilate?

Hypervantilation is just a fancy word for deep breaths. Deep Breath in and out. Relatively fast. Took me ~7min until I passed out. But do not underestimate it, pretty stressful. And make sure you sit or lie, don't stand up or you break your legs.
I've never managed it either, it's really frustrating as SWB would be my preferred method as I could easily do it when out paddleboarding or wild swimming and wouldn't raise any suspicion
One thing to add, after hypervantilating for a while, I holded my breath(with no air in my lung), after a couple seconds I became unconscious. This step was important because while hyperventilating you still breath in oxygen, but when holding your breath you deplete that oxygen and CO2 gets created, but not enough to get you that breath instinct.
Also after a couple of breaths I felt dizzy, so you should feel an effect when doing it right.
General consensus on here is no. Can't say I've tried, but I've managed to get better results since posting this. Makes you wonder where the bag thing came from.
Isn't the bag used to keep CO2 in circulation, so you precisely don't fall unconscious.
Webmd says following: "The traditional treatment is to breathe into a paper bag so you breathe back in some of the carbon dioxide. But today, doctors recommend taking deep breaths or covering your mouth and one of your nostrils to limit how much air gets in. If you have trouble calming down, ask someone to help you."

Thats normal, same thing when I hyperventilated. Same tingeling/dizziness you get when you walk out of a shisha bar after an hour or 2, just more intense

Small room, low oxygen level(If you're a smoker, maybe smoke before in room). Also deep and aggressive breaths, like you want to get as much air as possible really fast in and out of the lungs.

How long did it take for you to pass out i just held my breath and after 30 seconds i didn't even feel dizzy infact it felt like I never even hyperventilated and just held my breath on a normal day

I hyperventilated for ~7min(deep breaths in and out) and hold my breath. First it did not do anything, but then I immediately hyperventilated again for a couple of minutes and then hold my breath again. Then after a short while(couple of seconds) I lost consciousness, fell(because I accidentally walked around while hyperventilating) and broke my leg. But I think I definetly passed out(even if just for a couple of seconds), because I litterally fell on my leg like a sack of potatoes, while standing in the middle of the room. But of course the adrenaline rush from my broken leg woke me back up.

For how long am I likely to be unconscious? A matter of seconds? or minutes? I am an old man, ex-smoker (quit tobacco more than 2 years ago).
Never succeeded in hyperventilation so far.

Well the idea is that you'll be unconscious forever :). If your underwater you'll die. If you fall down and hit your head you could also die or stay unconscious for a couple of hours.
Thanks, but my question was actually this: for how long am I going to be unconscious due to hyperventilation, not taking into account voluntary or accidental drowning or injuries?
From what I know and heard(I am not an expert), it depends on so many factors. But If you are on fresh air probably just a couple of seconds.
You fall unconscious because after hyperventilating you have low oxygen levels. But when you stop, due to being unconscious, you go back breathing normally again, so oxygen levels return to normal.
BUT, you could also die, because something in your body goes wrong or you fall and hit you head. It has a low probability but is possible. Keep it in mind when you practice
