Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

that's a complicated question, i think. To be honest, much of the good advice towards living a more fulfilling life is not fun to do when you're struggling. exercising, eating healthy, sleeping properly, having hobbies, realistic goals, friends, family, persevering, being optimistic, challenging yourself, etc... all those things are cliche and repeated to death for a reason. I think many of us lose faith in those things because they don't actually fix your problems. but they do help

much of the advice you'll find for self-help, therapy, even religion, all sort of revolve around living your life in the ways I described. the thing is, you won't always be happy or fulfilled. Even during good times in your life. None of this stuff helps unless you do it consistently for a long time. It also won't feel like it helps if you're in an environment where you're regularly getting triggered, if that's something you struggle with.

Try to live a fulfilled life. be wise about things. trust your gut. keep persevering. learn. I think being happy and fulfilled is very much a process. it's not something that just happens. I think being happy can happen when you forgive yourself, accomplish goals, do things that are meaningful to you. Do things that benefit you in the long run.

The thing about getting better is that it means changing. You necessarily have to become different from who and what you are right now. you can do that though. Hopefully your mind changes about not wanting external help. I think accepting and seeking help when you need it is important. although I can understand and empathize with having bad experiences with mental health services
