I want to go quick. I tried pills but they didnt work because I didnt know about this forum before. Is there any mega threads that could help me know how to hang myself so I can succesfully break my neck? I have only seen ones for choking, and that's not what I want. If someone told be, I would really appreciate it!

Hanging doesn't aim to cause "choking", but rather to block oxygenated blood supply to the brain by constricting the carotid arteries.

If you do the procedure correctly, you lose consciousness in a few seconds, followed by death. Time, gravity, and your weight closing the ligature and the rope penetrating your neck will do the trick.

Breaking your neck only works for the Drop Hanging method (used in executions). And here you have more chances of making a mess, as you need to calculate the height of the fall, your weight, etc. We're not trained military personnel. It's also not easy to find a suitable location for it.

To start getting informed it would be better if you read these threads first:

📌 Thread 'Evelyn's complete guide on how to hang yourself with both partial and full suspension hanging'

📌 'How to locate the carotid arteries?'

📌 Thread 'Do you need to find the sweet spot with full hanging?'

You do not.
You can search the threads and see what does work.

Even if the 2 vertebral arteries are not blocked at all, you will still lose consciousness and stay unconscious?

Don't worry, my native language isn't English either (:

In Full there are no problems.

You'll still lose consciousness, the target is the carotid arteries, which carry most of the oxygenated blood flow so the brain doesn't die.

Just as when a device doesn't receive enough electrical voltage, it shuts down anyway, even if it receives that little energy; it's not enough for its requirements.

...
Cerebral anoxia
• Carotid artery occludes with 4-5kgs tension
• Vertebral artery occludes with 20kgs tension.

📌 Measurement of force to obstruct the cervical arteries and distribution of tension exerted on a ligature in hanging

📌 Neurovascular lesions and mechanisms in suicidal hanging (full pfd attached)

"A point of neurological, rather than anatomical, importance is that the vertebral arteries carry an insufficient supply of blood to the brain (2% of cerebral blood flow) to maintain neuronal viability and integrity in the face of complete bilateral carotid occlusion."

The length of a drop for a successful drop hanging varies according to the person's weight. The most recent table that I could find was created by the British is 1913.

thank yo. I tried hanging myself but eventually I finted and somehow survived. walking home was absolutely horrible
Is there any easier way to kill myself_ I dont have access to buying drugs or lorazepam or whatever

I'm so sorry, I hope you can find the method that best suits you on the forum. We users are not allowed to interfere (or convince) with the choice of each person.

These are the ones most talked about:

📌 Thread 'Suicide Resource Compilation'

It may sound frustrating, but it takes some time to get informed and gain the necessary trust in one of them.

I frequent Hanging's threads more because it's the one I chose for myself.

There are many users willing to help and answer questions. Don't be afraid to interact~

• Vertebral artery occludes with 20kgs tension.
Does that compress it significantly even with the bone canals surrounding the vertebral arteries, that is protecting the vertebral arteries and the ligature presses on the bone?

In Judicial Hanging (executions) it is more usual to find significant vertebral artery and cervical spinal injury. Its death mechanism is different from FSH.

And as I explained you above, the flow of these vertebral arteries is minimal and they alone cannot keep the brain and its functions viable.

You can read the PDF I attached..

"The common carotid arteries are covered by skin, platysma muscle, deep cervical fascia, sternocleidomastoid muscle and carotid sheath from the level of the cricoid cartilage until their bifurcation at the upper border of the thyroid cartilage. During this part of their course, they rest on the unyielding surfaces of the transverse processes of the fourth, fifth and sixth cervical vertebrae. This anatomical configuration renders the patency of the vessels vulnerable to forces which can compress them against the subjacent vertebral transverse processes and cartilaginous larynx with any force greater than 3.5 to 5 kg causing carotid occlusion with consequent cerebral ischaemia, anoxia and loss of consciousness. The vertebral arteries, on the other hand, are protected from this type of compressive pressure because they ascend through the transverse foramina in the cervical vertebrae, requiring a force of 16.6 kg for occlusion. However, they do not do so through the seventh cervical vertebra, creating a potentially vulnerable locus to compressive force. This site, however, lies below the usual point of suspension in suicidal hangings, tending to negate this vulnerable locus for compression."

The goal is to block the carotid arteries, which carry the greatest blood flow (FSHanging). Those who hanged themselves are dead now (watch the videos, the news, autopsy reports/photos..)

📌 Thread 'Videos of succesful hangings'

📌 Hanging, forensic photos
https://www.hermantheshocker.com/?s=hanging

Watch this video, and it'll put your mind at ease. Hanging is lethal and it's fast.

The young woman is resting with her feet on the ground (it's not even completely suspended); she's clearly thin/light. And if no one had rescued her, she would have died once she lost consciousness.
