How close to your ctb date should you test your N?

What the title says basically. How near my ctb date should i test my N? So I can keep it sealed for as long as possible, but still have time to order new N if needed. Testing is especially relevant as my N is old.

How are you going to test it? I think the only was of testing it is to actually take it all and hope it works

I suggest you use a long hypodermic to draw up some to test. this way you don't need to break the seal and cause minimal exposure to air.
