How can I get my doctor to prescribe olanzapine?

I am on clozapine which is an atypical antipsychotic like olanzapine. My doctor has been unwilling to change my medication from clozapine to other antipsychotics in the past because my previous doctor prescribed it while I was hospitalized. What can I say to him to give me some olanzapine?

I got prescribed Olanza through mental health services after trying a few others that didn't agree with me. I'm not sure if your able to get the prescription request through mental health services, but perhaps you could mention your having trouble with appetite and sleeping as Olanzapine does increase your appetite and it makes you very tired and sleepy.

I want my doctor to switch to olanzapine as it is a good antiemetic for SN. Can clozapine be used as an antiemetic?

I don't have any experience with Clozapine so i can't shed any light on that sorry.
