• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

There must be a way....

At some point, it's just much more readable to divide things up, as done in the first several posts by Tired Horse in the Exit Bag Mega Thread:

https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/exit-bag-and-inert-gas-megathread.8393/

If that was just one long post with no end in sight, I probably would have thrown in the towel. Yet when I tried to do a similar thing, I had to edit and repost a zillion different ways until I just got lucky, and can't seem to reproduce it:

https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/exit-bag-and-inert-gas-megathread.8393/page-24

It seems by default, if you make a post, and then try to make another one in the same thread, it combines them. I tried to break something up again today, but no matter what I did, it was going to lump everything together. I was going to try and answer a question someone had, but it was completely off-topic from what I'd already posted, so I just gave up.

Do I just have to wait until someone else posts in the thread before any additional posts I make will be separate from the last?

I thought that maybe Tired Horse was able do what he did because he was the OP, but I just tried dividing this one up into three posts, and it combined my OP and two replies into one post. So how did he do it?

Has the board changed how that works since the time that thread was started?

Thanks.
