Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

First of all, yeah that's a bad thing to want and I know suppressing emotions can make things worse but it's the not way I can genuinely live at this point. My emotions are internally driving me mad and I have no other choice but to try to numb all emotions as much as possible. I'm trying to make myself numb to extreme emotions like shock or fear and then just work at getting rid of them all together. Does anyone have any advice? I genuinely need to do this and any advice will help! Thank you

What helped me was just thinking that I can end it one day. Im used to bottle it up. But thinking of ctb'ing and how and when helps me to think of peace sometimes

Head injuries and lots of meds caused this to me. I'm almost completely desensitized and it makes life almost impossible. Do you think it'll make ctb easier or something?

High doses of antidepressants can numb everything after a while, but it takes time.

You only have so much conscious control of your emotions - you can't really reason yourself into apathy any more than you can reason yourself into happiness.

unfortunately it seems to be difficult to do this (for me, trying to lessen my emotions only backfires, so i must recognize i am going through an "episode" and have to feel the intenseness before i am able to calm down) but the idea that i am temporary and i have control over whether i exist or not does seem to give me a sense of dominance over it all. wishing you peace

It really isn't all that it's made out to be. I've spent years in this state and it's part of the reason I want to ctb. I just wish I could feel and connect with people. idk I guess one person's reason for ctb is another person's bliss. I don't have advice on how to get there, but I wish you luck.

In my experience, life just has that effect over time anyway.

Trust someone or get on love with someone, that will --- that made me apathetic.

I think sometimes we subconsciously do this as a way to protect our feelings and disassociate.

Prozac made me numb and helped me. I wasn't even able to cry anymore. My dose was Prozac 40 mg. Hope that helps.

Not being able to cry isn't a good thing.

During that time in my life it was a great thing. I no longer take Prozac because I decided to stop. I'm so thankful for it.
