As someone who works in a hotel I'd ask you not to or at least provide the hotel with warning and choose a chain hotel. Housekeeping do not get paid enough to find dead bodies and small businesses will find it difficult to recover.

i was told if i do this to ctb in the bathroom with note on door to let them know call police since they are trained to deal with dead bodies. I would never want to harm the maids and other employees. no clue if they are open or not but hotels here right now are maybe better than they normally would be since house keeping doesn't enter until you check out and doesnt do the normal daily cleaning due to covid safety.
Rent a hotel room with a major chain for friday-monday/a long weekend (travelodge, premier inn, ibis, novotel, etc).
Book a double room but as a single adult (some specify 2 adults by default)
Don't pay for the breakfast service.
Make sure they see you leaving/entering during the day/evening (Friday - day you checked in) .
Switch on the TV and set volume at a reasonable volume whilst you're out.
CTB in the bathroom during saturday daytime, but leave a big note taped to the bathroom door, and leave the light on so extractor fan stays on
There's no turn-down service due to covid. You have to request housekeeping with reception, and leave the room for 90 minutes, before they'll come and change the sheets (so you wouldn't have to worry about housekeeping coming and disturbing you whilst CTB'ing). If done correctly - you won't be discovered until checkout date/monday afternoon.
Source: I was going to CTB in a hotel at the end of Autumn 2020, SN never arrived, but hotel was already booked so I went anyway to research.
