• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Anyone seen the movie martyrs. the original from 2008 ? Watched it couple times and reminds me of the cruelty of things happening in this world. It's a good movie but not for the faint of heart.

Haven't seen and can't say about it specifically but usually these kinds of movies that are dark just end up falling short or seemingly trying to impress me one way or another, I felt that way about Get Out and Pan's Labyrinth for example.
The Black Mirror series as another example just pissed me off. it's like I know what it is from the first minutes, boom , done, why is there another hour of this and then the twist happens and oh boy who could have guessed right?

I usually end up disliking what I'm being told I should like or told that at it's core is some "deep and disturbing" media.

Maybe I'm just a pretentious prick, lol or jaded to oblivion.

Haven't seen these movies. Lodts of dark psycho horror are pretty bad. Spitt on your grave and martyrs and revenge 2017 are the only ones I find are made well
