Hope?... hopefully...

So I've been watching this archeological Tuber called Miniminuteman (or Milo Rossi :3) and I kinda fell in love, cause he did a whole series debunking another "archeology" series made by Graham Hancock (a total fraud) and also seems to me like a genuine empathetic person who tries to be in touch with nature! Now lately Milo has started getting a bit big and famous, so much so that he did a tour in Turkey of some archeological sites (donating money to local disaster relief, bless him!) and will be doing another one of those in Peru in a couple months. In that tour he offers a weeklong experience (twice) of sum truly amazing lookin shid and also a week in which he'll take you to a shaman who gives you an ayahuasca drink for therapeutic purposes...
Now I've heard about these types of experiences being truly transforming and enlightening for people and I've become tempted... because if I was to go with Milo maybe it could help me finally identify and purge the toxic parts of myself and become a way better person (which is what we all need to be if we want to save us... which we do)! I think it would be my best shot for improving myself for the purpose of improving others... even if it wasn't at least it would do something, right?...
The point is I now feel like I need to go, only it costs 32 hundred US dollars and I'm ashamed to ask my mom to pay (understandable, I know, but if you take into account that I believe money should be of no consequence it becomes clear why that shame seems dumb af to me)... I hope she doesn't outright refuse because of what a fuckup I am because for this I'd be legit willing to go find at least A job and pay for some of it (I have like 3 months tops and a months pay aint likely to get me 500 bucks), which if you knew me personally would shock you xD I have been bitchin about my back so much that my friends have almost given up telling me to find a job and just gift me weed when we hang... bless them too, whoever has that kinda power!
My greatest fear about this is that I go, it works wonders and actually improves me as a person, I take to the streets trying to convince anyone who still believes in the status quo that they've been scammed and I find that some people truly are unreachable and my effort was for nothing...
Anyway: if anyone has experience with ayahuasca or any other similar ritual I would love to know more before I decide... tho I feel like my morality begs me to make this happen no matter what, so I feel a bit of an obligation to go... aight, enough of the ramble, wannabe Pratchett! Let the nice folks answer as well :D

Hi missy, i missed my medium :D
it sounds really expensive and i still have DMT and shrooms on my list even tho my friend who introduced and lectured me about those things also warned me about it.

but if it works and being happy is an option id go for it. am a bit afraid id end up as some of those ayahuasca advocates who talk about the root and nothing else anymore. and im already a sucker for trees.

I missed you as well :) took me a sec to realize who dis xD I don't see that happening to me, since I have a pretty good sense for when I'm just being annoying/obnoxious and my obssessions last like an hour xD thanks for the encouragement tho! I hope to commit to it today, since time is of the essence, but I still don't think this is that realistic of a wish :/
