Method Heroin, why not?

I'm surprised that more people on this forum don't try to kill themselves with heroin. Aside from the trouble of acquiring it, what would be the downside? Surely if you're a first time user and you take *plenty* you'll fucking od right? I don't have any experience with drugs like this though so I don't actually know. My "knowledge" of heroin is pretty movie-based, so I might be an idiot about it. It just seems like a decent way to drift away. Take it on an empty stomach and they don't find you covered in puke- sounds alright to me. Thoughts?

I have to wonder whether the reason it isn't mentioned as a peaceful pill or used for medical euthanasia is policy based ( ie don't want to create increase in junkies, crime, crime proceeds etc).

Used to work with this guy who had to quit and go to rehab for his H problem... feel like I missed my shot. It's a sketchy drug and if you ask your average weed/pill/psychedelic dealer for it they're generally like "fuck no I don't get into that shit" and wonder what's up with you. It seems like it be so easy... no serious planning or equipment necessary and once you inject... even with survival instinct kicking in its such a fast acting drug you can't really change your mind.

I would be concerned how easily reversible od is if you're found. I would also be scare of surviving and developing a substance abuse habit, and finally I would have zero idea how to even get it.

Idk if I survived my attempted heroin od I could just tell people I'm a drug user; they wouldn't even know I was truly attempting to off myself. Also, there is the potential of surviving with resulting serious brain damage from several methods, at least with H, I wouldn't come back retarded, just addicted to H. Hell, the heroin could even result in me continuing to live (so I could keep getting high) if I survived the first dose.

I dunno and not asking where do you live, but heroin is really easy to get. Usually in the train stations, dodgy neighbourhoods, etc.

I agree, but hydromorphone pills would be better than street bought, as you would know the strength and dont need needles. Its cleaner and you wont throw up if you use anti emetics. i have a stash of Palladone and this is the method I choose. As a first time user I expect that will help too as I have no tolerance built up. You would also need less than other painkillers like Oxy. I would never buy street heroin.

It's not that easy to overdose on heroin and it's always cut so you have to inject a very high dose with unpredictable results.

I suppose the main reasons are inaccessibility, high price and fright of underdosage. It's very hard and dangerous to get strong opioids. Both police and criminals act against the users so it's very likely to be scammed and/or taken into custody, especially when you haven't bought hard drugs before. Secondly, it's hard to determine the right dosage in order to kill oneself. It depends on individual, a lot of factors play a role. To be 100% sure you have to buy an enormous amount of high-quality heroin, which of course costs a lot money.

I'm basically almost set on my H OD plan, i'll post a goodbye post with pics and details so people can have some idea, and if i don't come back means it worked. And, yea, i mean there's a risk of underdosage, but the pluses outweigh the minuses i think. I'll be going in a couple of weeks, so just look out for a goodbye thread around halloween.

It's my chosen method. Order from dark web, which is pretty easy. Get double the amount suggested. Check into hotel when I know I won't be missed for a few hours and that'd it take a while to track me down. I'm a nurse so no concerns about finding the vein or getting the right equipment. Job done.

This was my idea too. Just buy a bunch on the streets (easy where I'm from), learn how to mix it up on youtube, get a hotel for 1 or 2 days and get it over with.

Can learn on YouTube, and just, don't mention the CTB part, if anyone asks why ur buying heroin just be like, the same reason anyone else would. You're going through some shit, It's your business.

I love the idea of it, but the reality, not so much. It's easily reversed using Narcan, it's hard to obtain, its illegal to have etc. Also for people who have never used drugs prior it's a little intimidating.

You would need to inject. Or plug but that takes longer and isn't as reliable.

You wouldn't be addicted to heroin after getting high once, in the same way that you don't come back from hospital addicted to morphine if you've had an operation.
