Socrates died from Hemlock. Where does one get hemlock and other similar poisons? Seems like it was common back in the day.

A quick search of symptoms makes it not a ideal method. And in the case you do survive, things don't look very good either.

I'm thinking of using hemlock too. It's the most or maybe the only material available to me. I don't think i have access to any other poisons in the UK.
This being my 2nd attempt, I already feel trapped and without other options. The first chemical poison I took was fake and only left me with a literal bad taste in the mouth for days.
So, I've decided on something natural that simply can't be faked. I see the plant everywhere now and I've figured how to identify them. Now, i just need to prepare it.

I'm thinking of drinking it as tea. Yes, i know it's based on Socrates' death but I feel desperate. Not in a hurry, just desperate.

I don't know how to make the same drink as the Greeks did but I'm just thinking i could gather a few leaves and dry them, putting them in a transparent container out in the sun. Then just soaking them in water like tea. Maybe mix a little cider to make the taste a little better.

Will drying them for a few days make them loose potency?

Can anyone advise on my method?

In the USA, counties may have a Noxious Weed Board. Poison Hemlock should be on the list. They have pictures showing that the weed looks like. I have been looking at the pictures and credits to see where the weed could be harvested from. I find that the pictures are taken in other parts of the country. To drive involves a car that could just as easily crash in to a telephone pole. In shorter form, these are not ideal methods.

Hemlock will make you suffocating fully conscious. I'd prefer CO Method via char coal, and char coal is available everywhere. Well prepared, it should work fine and painless.
