So I was ready to test out my nitrogen kit since I felt like ctb the soonish, and I couldn't fit the regulator to my canister. both should be type 50 but the regulator was too long and couldn't place the nut over the bolt. Anyone can help me?
I found this photo of the max dog regulator( I assume it's the Australian one) and it seems to have a smaller connector so I don't know what's going on with EM 1667370932827

Where as EM has a much longer one

Are you sure the cylinder is AS2473 Type 50?

That's a CGA-580.
Well the website just says type 50 and the regulator says type 50 so I don't know what's going on. I emailed KLaw and he said it's possible that my cylinder is type 51 for some reason

Here are some photos of the T50 connector for Australia/New Zealand:

It is exactly what you posted from EM. (Note that the length of the connector is immaterial.) From the photos, it looks like EM is selling you the real goods. Any chance your cylinder vendor may have mistaken??

Incidentally, I do not know how the T51 comes into the picture here.

Klaw said that it's possible that they send me high pressure nitrogen which uses 51 not 50

And what do you mean by length is immaterial? The nut won't reach all the way to the bottom

Your cylinder may have a T51 connection fitting. That is possible.

Based on what you have provided -- from your photo -- and when compared to the photos from the link I provided in my post of a bonafide T50 connector. You appear to have the right T50 connector. I do not know how we can help, other than suggest you contact your gas supplier. I certainly can understand your frustration.

Thanks for your help. I've contacted my supplier and they said the cylinder is type 50 and the regulator doesn't look Australian so they want to sell my one that will fit.
