My name is John Sasu. I'm above 18 years old. My activity is in the Suicide Discussion forum of Sanctioned Suicide, where all the goodbye threads are, and I am not pro-death, I'm just pro-choice. I work as a bus driver for the Sancho Suerside company, and I log on every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't self-harm, but I occasionally attempt. I'm offline by 11 PM, and make sure I post at least 10 threads a day, no matter what. After pouring a glass of sodium nitrite and doing about twenty minutes of fighting survival instinct before going to bed, I usually have no problems staying awake until morning. Just like a mental ward patient, I wake up with crippling fatigue, suicidal ideation and stress in the morning. I was told "I hope you find peace" and "Do you have SN source?" on my last vent. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to die a very quiet death. I take care not to trouble myself with any recovery, like therapy or medication, that would cause me to think I might still have a will to live. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me unhappiness. Although, if I were to kill myself I wouldn't be stopped by anyone.

Hello, John SaSu, it is I, Johnathan Tourist. I find your post quite fascinating, and I would like to impart some wisdom to you in this time of your life when you are incapable of thinking for yourself

Tell me, have you ever considered that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem? I'm sure there are people out there in your life who love you very much that don't want you to take your life like this. Things will get better, I'm sure of it, because the Bible said so

Speaking of the Bible, did you know it is a sin to take your own life? God made us all in His own image, so by taking your own life, you are spitting on the gift He granted you, a child made from His love for humanity. Please reconsider this path you are taking, for you do not truly understand what you are getting into

I know my compassionate words full of empathy are enough to sway you from the path of sin, and if you disagree, you're lying and purposefully being difficult

Wishing you well,
Johnathan Tourist

The hurting of my family members is the only thing keeping me from taking the plunge (and even on that front I think it would be just a short term issue for them and they'd get over it pronto and at least as to my wife she'd be better off). Religious considerations don't carry weight for me on this issue but I suppose that's a much larger debate.

Hello Johnathan Tourist, it is I John Boy Calling People Out On BS! Damn I have a long name! I find your post......funny as hell! I would like to impart some wisdom on you in the time of your life when you are incapable of thinking for yourself because you are too busy thinking you are better than everyone else.

Have you ever considered that most people here have tried everything else and most of us don't want to be here but we have come to conclusion that our problems are not temporary and, unfortunately, things will not get better. Take me for example, my girlfriend of 26 years passed away 2 years ago from colon cancer. I prayed and prayed to your God and it did not help her get better and didn't help at all with her pain. She died a horrible death. I know God works in mysterious ways and has a purpose or plan for everything. That's always the excuse when prayer does not work. Or my faith wasn't strong enough. I've heard that too. After she died I became sick and unable to work anymore. I lost the house we bought, built, and made into a home. I became homeless and ended up in the hospital and after 3 strokes and 3 heart attacks, am now on oxygen 24/7, have a defibrillator implanted in me, and am in constant bone and joint pain because of rheumatoid and osteoarthritis. I've had 17 surgeries and still need my hips and shoulders replaced. My heart is functioning at 10-15% I've been given a 3-5 year expiration date and there is nothing else they can do. My parents are dead and I haven't and won't speak to my sister in 30 years. So no loved ones and no friends except the people I have met on here. So no things will most definitely not get better. I'm not going to sit around in pain and barely able to breathe for 3 -5 more years. Would you actually wish that on one of your loved ones rather than them peacefully stopping it on their own. Who would be the selfish one? I'm 56 years old and I'm not depressed and my brain is functioning at 100%. As is most of the peoples on here. We're just tired of suffering and know that it is not going to get better and we believe that the choice should be ours. We are not a death cult. Nobody is coercing us to do anything. Nobody is helping us either by telling me how to do it or where to get the supplies to do it. The Bible also says it's a sin to eat pigs and shellfish.

And speaking of the Bible it also says we are given the freewill to serve him or not. I did for 54 years of my life and recently lost my faith and belief and that's ok too.

If you compassionate, emphatic words are enough to sway anybody from their "path of sin" then they weren't serious about it in the first place and my needed to be steered away from that path. But the ones of us who are staying with our plan are not being dishonest or difficult, we're just doing what we were given the freedom to do. And another thing about you and your Bible. Remember you ate not supposed to judge us and YOU will be punished for it. I believe that's in there too. Kmart went out of business giving out them fake PhDs. I used to put up fences, so I too had a PhD, Post Hole Digger.

Wishing you well
