Heart racing with SN

Some weeks ago, I saw a post from someone who took SN talked about heart racing. He also said "salty as hell", "God help me".
I cannot find this post anymore (his account was maybe disabled). But I think about this "heart racing" thing everyday and it's what bothers me the most with SN.

I'd like to know how much BPM the heart racing can be. If some people can help me to find an answer. I have propranolol because I already have speed heart BPM and the PPeH does is not clear with propranolol use.

Most of people here worry about throwing up. It's not a problem for me. Anyway it's recommended to have a second SN glass ready. But when my heart beats so fast, i can have a panic attack and that's stresses me the most. Sorry for my bad english and thanks for your help

Tachycardia (or heart racing) seems like a minor problem to me. After all we are talking about fatal asphyxia. It's hard to imagine that this could happen smoothly.

During sports, my heart rate reaches 180 beats per minute. But I read somewhere that SN cannot cause such a strong tachycardia. I think the maximum is about 150 beats per minute.

I often have tachycardia, under stress my heart produces 120 beats per minute. This is not a strong symptom.

At first, your heart speeds up, but as hypoxia increases, it will begin to slow down. It will not be able to accelerate to strong values, because it will experience oxygen starvation. And given the propranolol, I would not worry about this.

It's very much reminiscent of a panic attack. I've taken sn and that heart racing feels as if you just ran for a long time, it's manageable if you know what you're getting into .

Well, I tried SN up to 250 mg, and it raised my heart rate to 80-90, while normally it's 60-70 at rest. I'd also like to note that the speed was much less noticeable than the strength of the heartbeats. When taking SN, I could hear the heartbeats much louder than usual. It wasn't scary, the sensations were similar to those after light physical activity.

Many thanks for sharing it. In fact, I have a lot of questions about symptoms. I just asked Grok if it is possible to throw up while being uncouscious and it says yes. And another of my questions is the taking of 200mg valium (just after SN drink) and the time frame to be uncouscious. I don't want to ask too much to AI because I'm paranoid...

Try to get as much as meds PPH says. SN by itself isn't a very peaceful method. For propranolol, you need 400mg prolly you know that. All of it will quicken the time to get unconscious.

Thanks. But I thought propranolol was no longer recommended ? And I need to get metoclopramide (I just have metopimazine).

They don't say it's not recommended explicitly, they aren't sure whether it speeds up the death or not. It will still stop tachycardia at the least, it will keep you more comfortable than not taking it. It's your choice though

You may ask your doctor for Propranolol. I take 20mg everyday since years and it works very well. When I forget to take it in the morning (it's very rare), I can see my heart beating very fast at the beginning of the afternoon. Last time I forgot to take it, I thought it was my anxiety, but it was my body who didn't get the med. But these times I have a huge amount of stress because of my rare illness (dystonia) and sometimes I must take propranolol at night because my heart beats too fast. In my family we have heart issues (my mother takes pills since a very long time). By the way, as I have severe sleep apnea too, I guess it will be easier for my body to die... I hope so ! But I don't want to go to the hospital and suffer more and more. Just give me peace. I'm too tired with all this shit
