Hey all! Just wanted to share that I believe I am having a mental breakdown right now and could use someone to talk to. Thank you!

P.S. I hope this doesn't come through as spam as I've been posting a lot in the last hour. This community is my safe space and it actually helps me to post here instead of reaching out to people in my life who would ignore me, answer but feel like I'm a burden, or get me to a psych ward.

Hello. I'm online if you need someone to chat with.

It sounds cliche but try some grounding techniques. Are you breathing deep enough? Try to slow your breath down. Breathe in deeply and slowly for 4 sec, hold for 4 sec, and release slowly through your nose for 4 seconds. When I'm panicking I notice I have extremely shallow breathing.
