  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

Yes, I have.

Today, subzero temperatures hit Incheon.
Even though my country is getting hotter, they comes often still.
Sometimes we meet 10-15 below zero degree in winter.

I postponed my ctb because of my promise and compassion for my parents & my beloved.
So I won't ctb in this year, but I will correct my plan in spare moments.

My country has many, big mountains. Especially, Gangwon-do is the coldest city.
People who live in a mountain of Gangwon-do sometimes meet 20 blow zero degree.
I visualised myself finding proper place to die of exposure with some liquors.

I don't think freezing to death won't be painful for 'me'. I only wish nobody would find me too early.
Then... I have to pretend to be normal, looking to CCTV and location tracking service of the police in special cases.

Travel to your chosen location at night, wear dark clothing and leave your phone switched off,but take it with you and a firestrike, just in case you change your mind!

It's a pretty slow method of death, but not massively unpleasant. The first half hour to 2 hours (depending on how cold it is) can get really uncomfortable, but after that you stop feeling the cold and it's pretty peaceful. Definitely take something for a fire in case you change your mind, and make sure to wear very thick socks and gloves, frostbite is horrible.

It gets to -40° here in January and February each year. Ten minutes in that is enough for me to abandon whatever it was brought me outside. I can't imagine two hours. :mmm:

In that temperature you're going to stop feeling the cold much quicker, but frostbite is more of a risk. Fighting through the shivering part is the hardest part, once that passes you don't really feel cold anymore.

I was thinking of eating tramadol to dull the discomfort and maybe go to a pond. Coldwater gets the job done much faster.

I wouldn't recommend that. It's probably really painful unless you're totally drunk at that point.
But if you have family and freeze to death while being drunk, they would probably see this as an "accident" rather than a suicide.

For anyone considering this, if not in cold water, please just don't. If you change your mind, you may wind up with frostbite. Trust me, if you think your life is bad now, it can be MUCH worse. See here (warning - graphic) https://www.google.com/search?hl=en...hUKEwjdoo7D29ruAhWIHzQIHbyNA-wQ4dUDCAY&uact=5

The only way to go with hypothermia would be in the water. It's fast and if you change your mind, there won't be terrible consequences.

Sleeping in a trash bag Saturday night when temperatures hit 35 degrees F at night wasn't fun. I'm sick today and still shivering. Hate wet cold.

@Symbiote so sorry to hear that. I hope you can get to a warmer climate so you won't have to worry about the cold anymore.

I'm from a southern warm part of the world where the temperature rarely even gets below 15c. Freezing to death would be very scary to me and I would be afraid it would be uncomfortable and even painful. I don't like the cold!
