I just got finished writing a venting post, and at the tippy top of the "what's new" feed, I see this.

I understand that people will just be pro life no matter what, but what they fail to understand is that, like another user saied, sometimes our bodies become torture chambers. Very little does anyone ask why specifically they want to commit suicide. If there's a problem, there is a solution. Thatmakes sense, but what is missing is the fact that sometimes, there are no solutions. So, should I live because my family would miss me? Maybe. Should I live a life of endless suffering when I've exhausted every option, and similar to being in the ER as a vegatable, should they stop me from either sitting in my bed all day feeling like shit just so family can be happy that they can NEVER call or interact or even show they care until I die??

It's so fucked. I'm glad they don't have many members.THERE IS A RECOVERY FORUM FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! If someone wants to kill themselves that bad, they can go to any library or any other website and findwhat they need.


And what do people do when there's no solution that theyhave the answer to?

Google can make any site invisible or not appear in any search results. So Yes Google has absolute power and can destroy any website.
This video shows that Google has total power over the internet (look at the end at the years 2017, 2018, 2019). Only other thing out there is Facebook. Youtube owned by Google.

The suicide hotline, Isn't a suicide hotline. It's a purely impulsive suicide hotline for people who are facing suicide for the first couple times in their lives. For people that don't truly know they want to CTB or who just call for the comfort and hope of finding something only to realize that it's all smoke and mirrors, scripted, and points you to more directions than will probably give you answers.

From what I've witnessed, people often do things like this to appear like martyrs to their facebook 'friends', not because they really care or understand.

They have NO understanding of what brings (us) people here, nor do they reach out to understand how it provides a place for people to avoid judgement and vilification for struggling with 'life', but at least allows discussion, dignity and possible recovery too.

One of the admin's comments condescendingly refers to 'the vulnerable girl with extreme autism'. I wonder if she's read Callie's poignant goodbye message and really considered her struggles through life? I doubt it, and I doubt it would resonate either.

People like this feed the stigma and desperation of those who are suicidal, whilst posing in a false, maybe genuinely misguided, guise of kindness.

Perhaps they think they mean well, but by their logic and simplistic views, everyone struggling with existence is insane, vulnerable and cannot make an informed and educated decision about their own life unless they have a terminal physical illness.

This place is 'disgusting' according to them, yet it only exists because it's populated with the very people they claim to be trying to 'protect' .

Why do so many people fail to see the bigger picture? Just one of the many reasons that makes me want out of this life.
