Everyone isn't bright. I've seen things more stupid things than smart things in this world. Plenty of dumb criminals, etc. OP could be inexperienced, young, etc.

A savvy person also wouldnt make such a flippant post either.

Yep, that's how I found this site. I read an article about her. I never knew such a site existed. Amazing that we supposedly have free speech but this is so difficult for them to maintain.

This. Obviously not an adult. The post sounded silly and disrespectful because it's the one-dimensional viewpoint of a teenager; nothing malicious, nothing insidious like someone infiltrating the forum. Maybe everybody can stop riding this kid like a stagecoach now?

So many do, but I am wary of sounding condescending/patronising.

However, I do worry that there is no way of enforcing the lower age limit required by Forum rules, and that unintentionally we may be negatively influencing immature minds. This is something that could rebound to our disadvantage.

There's no way to control that past the proverbial "honor system," but that's another discussion. My point here is that we don't need to pile on this person anymore.

Yes, people have died from advise they have sourced from here, how many we will never know. Like any site it as its flaws but it also as lots of strengths, the main one is being so open about your feelings which on most forums you can't even say suicide without giving a trigger warning first. Are there attention seekers on here? of course there are I do feel the OP is a bit gullible with their question and all they need to do is read a few posts and walla you have your answer.

No, she's gone because she was both a minor and posted this publicly. Or she was not a minor or suicidal at all, and wanted a headline on how SS 'inspires' kids to die, knowing full well they are kids.

If you were going for infiltration, I would think you'd want to ingratiate yourself with the members or at least lay low, and certainly not alienate yourself. Isn't it Occam's Razor that indicates the most obvious answer is usually the correct one? To me, all signs pointed to half-baked kid.
