Lots. This "site" has been around in various forms since the early 90s, before the worldwide web even existed. The resources page here includes links to stuff from the old ASH Usenet newsgroup, est. 1990, and people have been using these gathering places to ctb ever since that forum went live. Countless people in countless ways, many of them well-documented.

Yes I'm pretty sure countless members have cycled in and out of here in catching the bus. Sometimes other members have spoken to them privately and get personal information that they can use to verify the death.
There are many serious people here. And others who are suffering plenty but unable to CTB yet for whatever reason.
However I believe there are also many who are here for ulterior reasons..you can usually tell in how flippant they are about the topic. This is not tumblr.

While OP worded it weird after a brief search of post history he or she seems to be hurting as well so Id advise not being too aggresive, words can hurt a lot to a vulnerable person

Why is it so wrong for people to look for inspiration ? Killing yourself is hard enough. If you are able to relate to someone who has already ctb in a respectul manner by reading their posts and their story , why would you not do so ? There are have been incredible human beings who have ctb in this forum . If you have the empathy and for whatever reason reading other peoples struggles and humanity makes your suicide easier , more power to you. If you are a person with such a sensibility I think you really have a lot to gain by reading the stories of some old members of the forum. I happen to not be one and yet the stories and posts of some old members have moved me deeply.

It suggests that suicide is not on the mind but one wishes it to be by having someone inspire it in them.
Or that they won't CTB unless someone else 'inspires' within them an 'inspirational' way to go out. As if they are bored or waiting for some break out idea for some project.
It just doesn't work.
It is better to simply ask for help in researching methods and wonder about who has actually succeeded in certain methods, as to give some peace of mind if one chooses the same route. Peace of mind, better odds, advice..any of these fit far better than asking to be inspired. I don't know if English is OP's first language as most people know when and where that word's usage is appropriate.

I dont care what it means in spanish (though I was aware). Its also the name of a bunch of media sights. who knows if OP is chicken or the media. I just know when you put it together with a post like this it doesnt ring as authentic.

The point of saying what it means in spanish is because its the most likely usage of the word for the OP
It seems pretty stupid for a media person to sneak into a forum with the name of their company but believe whatever you wish lol

You also were assuming I thought the OP wasnt a troll which i never even implicitly stated. Just gavr a reason for it not being one and asking people to not jump the gun like in previous times.
