what am i supposed to do with thatHappiness is a fool's ambition.
I'm far more in-line with Buddhist teachings.
Buddhism teaches that existence is suffering, we should help one another minimize eachothers suffering, and we should strive for enlightenment.
Enlightenment is not about happiness or sadness it's about truth.
Do with It what you want heh. Buddhism helped me make sense out of the madness of the world. But in the end I'm still preparing to ctb. So idk.what am i supposed to do with that
i guess my question shouldve been has anyone stopped being severly depressed and just, normalI've been happy, it's not something you arrive at and stay there forever. Pretty much everyone who reports having been there talk about how it comes and goes and comes again.
idk, it's like waves in the ocean
i've seen some of your posts (i believe), with quiting drinking and such, i hope you get there some dayI found it some years ago when I was slimmer, was going out with the love of my life, my mother's schizophrenia wasn't so bad, travelled around the world, had more money, and was more mentally stable.
Now, I'm still looking for it but it doesn't seem to want to be found again.
I did I guess for the first month of being on antidepressant. Then it became ineffective. They upped dosage and then I got that happiness for another month.i guess my question shouldve been has anyone stopped being severly depressed and just, normal

Rinse and repeat and now I'm at the highest dosage and super depressed again.
"Happiness is a warm gun (bang, bang, shoot, shoot)"Don't even know what happiness is.
I see suicide as a shortcut to nirvanaDo with It what you want heh. Buddhism helped me make sense out of the madness of the world. But in the end I'm still preparing to ctb.
The "pursuit of happiness" really is a pretty new, naive idea. If you try to pursue happiness, it will only flee...Happiness is a fool's ambition.
