• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Wow. Judging by the lack of responses I'm guessing inert gas is definitely the way to go for me.

There are some people who claimed they've failed due to SI or some other problem... You have to search the forum to find their reports...

But, if done right, the method is very efficient.

As long as you overcome SI and you fall unconscious, then it's pretty much done.

I've seen some failures mentioned, but mainly due to not doing the method properly.

Some who used argon found it a bit suffocating at first when using a flowrate of 25 litres per minute, but felt ok when upping the gas flowrate to 25 litres per minute(15 litres per minute is recommended for Nitrogen, argon is a heavier gas):

Someone else sabatoged their attempt by trying to let in oxygen during the attempt:

Someone failed with Nitrogen and exit bag, and later suspected the cylinder didn't have a high enough purity:

Derek Humphry, who wrote Final Exit, said he heard of no failures from the hundreds of helium exit bag cases he came across:
