Listen music, play music and drink alcohol is my only way out the sadness at the moment. I play a lot of video games but I can't find a game who make me feel happy for a long time now, so it's been some times since I have not played to a real good game. It help to pass the time but no more happy discovers since some years now.

If someone can advise me a nice game (solo or coop), I'm open for suggestion..
I try to change my reality on AI dungeon now using my imagination.
Right now I mostly just play mobile games like Sonic Dash or Fire Emblem Heroes daily. Games like those are only truly satisfying if you've been playing since the start since your collections and resources build every day. I also like to play games like Smash Ultimate but I really don't recommend that for trying to feel better unless you're really good at the game or at beating computers since it's easy to get very tilted...

Yes but I took it for granted and eventually got depressed/anxious, started making bad choices and lost it all

I'm not into mobile games, I never feel enough immersion on that support. But I'm a big fan of smash series since the one on GameCube so I already played a lot at Smash Ultimate, I've per-order it the day it was pre-orderable.

Honestly no. I've come close but there's always something impeding my happiness. It just feels so unfair.

Me as well.. I had a great job, was very happy, but took it for granted and I wanted to have more time with my family and I thought of doing business and quit that job. Now I have all the time with my family but am depressed without job and spent all my savings.. Am not able to get a job anymore and am not able to come out of the guilt of taking wrong decisions and here I am

Money comes and goes, it hurts but don't let that hurt you too much if it's against your will. Why aren't you able to get a job anymore if you don't mind me asking?

Yes, I think I did. Mostly before being 11 or 12. I can't explain the feeling, but I did.

When I'm depressed, I also feel like I've never been happy, and that I will never experience happiness, ever. But our memories are really fickle. I started journalling a couple years ago, and it really helps with being able to pinpoint exactly when I was last happy/content, and how to put those feelings into perspective. So now I know I've been happy before, and that I've been very depressed also. Although I can't always personally remember either of those extremes, I can look at my journals and get some insight into my mindset at the time.

Of course this insight doesn't make life any less shitty. But life isn't perfect for anyone, not even for the people who have it all and say theyre happy all the time. If you were happy all the time, people would say you're manic. It's all about balance and framing.
