Dear friends, this eve of December 31st finds us, once again, in the deep abyss of our existence. A night in which, while the world celebrates, many of us find ourselves surrounded by silence and darkness, abandoned by those we love, immersed in a pain that seems to have no end. In this oppressive solitude, I simply want to acknowledge your suffering. There are no words that can ease the burden of life, nor solutions that can heal the deepest wounds. We are here, together, sharing the burden of our unsustainable living, facing the brutality of a world that is indifferent and evil. This evening, as the cold of the night envelops our souls, I embrace you all in the cold and aching hands of pain, in this darkness that unites us. We are witnesses of desperation, companions on an aimless journey, and even if the shadows seem to swallow up all hope, know that you are not alone. In this moment of darkness, I hold you close to me, as we lose ourselves together in the deepest night. With affection in sharing our sadness.
