Honestly is hanging yourself painful? I've been just thinking about a good and peaceful way to go but shit idk
I've done a lot of research on this recently and asked a lot of questions and the results seem to be mixed. Some people who tried and failed said it was horrible, others said they passed out quickly before ever even feeling the urge to breath. I think I found more evidence and anecdotle experiences leaning toward peaceful though, so that's good. A couple tips I would suggest are 1.) make sure you test your rope. I ran a bunch of tests and even though my rope wasn't suppose to stretch, it did, quite a bit. I made sure all the stretch was out, so now, I won't end up touching the ground with my feet while hanging. 2.) This goes with the testing advice, but make sure your knot is good. I watched videos and practiced the slip knot, but when I tested it out, it gave under pressure and untied itself. I don't know why this happened, but I found a workaround. 3.) Use vaseline on the rope, near the knot, so it slips well. 4.) use a rope that is 1/2 to 3/4 inch. Too thin and it will cut in, too fat and it might not cut off the artery. 5.) Take a deep breath before doing it, so you won't feel the need to breath before passing out. 6) Tie your hands (zip tie maybe). I've heard that as survival instinct kicks in you might claw at the rope and scratch yourself. 7.) Make sure you won't be found for at least 30 minutes. Any earlier and you could survive with brain damage. You'll flail around while unconcious, so make sure you don't bang into anything that might alert someone, 8.) If you don't want to be found with poop in your pants (gross but true), fast for a day or two before hand. 9.) Make sure the rope is placed above the adams apple
