Partial hanging a person goes unconscious within 10 seconds very peaceful- surely full extension hanging should be the same? So why do I see people on the Web who do full extension hanging sometimes moving about in possible agony for two to three minutes, I've seen one poor women after 35 seconds trying to get back on the chair but she couldn't and she continued to move for another minute?
Am I missing something?

Yes. It basically be the same. According to the videos I've seen In full suspension most people loose consciousness within 15 seconds. The movements you see it's just a convulsions which are also present in partial.

If full suspension is done incorrectly then it can cause prolonged suffering. Usually that happens when the windpipe is closed or crushed instead of the arteries. With proper knots, rope and padding that shouldn't happen. I think that's the reason a lot of people go with partial though, since you are able to practice and get everything right before you ctb.

If we're thinking about the same vid, yeah that must have been the most botched up attempt ever - a proof to always do some research and prepare.

This vid on the other hand should be sticked at the top of the "how to hang yourself" thread https://theync.com/pretty-girl-in-sundress-hangs-herself-on-facebook-live.htm to clear up any confusion about this method. Just like with partial - you don't need to crush the windpipe and suffocate, the goal is closing the arteries.

Thanks appreciate feedback, also the lady looking for chair I believe had the knot of the rope in the wrong place so most of the pressure was only going to one side of the neck?

The woman also used a very thick rope I believe, it knocks you out way quicker with a thinner rope (even though it hurts more initially).

Bondage ropes are strong and secure. They should hold your weight by all standards. Shibari rope is gold, but I do believe they are more prone to friction than other ropes.

Thanks for Replys but will padding not prolong suffering? Why should i use padding? What type of padding should i use? In India they use scarfs should i do that?

I'm not an expert but as long as everything else is right I dont think it will. A lot of people do use scarves, any soft and fairly thin material like a scarf should work.
