But won't you be alive for a period of time? I think a Headshot would be near instantaneous, correct?
Some people prefer to suffer a little more, just to be displayed in an open casket at their funeral. A gunshot to the head leads to instant death because it destroys the entire mechanism that creates consciousness.

For a guaranteed death
More guaranteed than head?!

It really is the way to go. Hanging looks quick but there's still a moment of strangling. I think I might do it at home too, sticking family with the mess. Sorry. I think I'll only do it where I'm comfortable. (I don't want to go to a park or something.)

I've been considering the chest shot vs head shot, myself. Just for extra certainty.

My uncle killed himself via chest shot. Might make it difficult for my family to deal with (considering I was, uh, named after him).

Yes and you will most likely experience pain or shock.

Yup, there's no cases of anybody surviving a contact shotgun blast to the chest unlike with some headshots due to them missing the brain.

There's no cases of anybody surviving a shotgun blast through the mouth aimed at the brainstem. That would be a like for like comparison.

Key word "due to them missing the brain". It still counts as a headshot if they aim up the chin or aim in the mouth and don't hit their brain.

With a chest shot, you are deliberately aiming at a particular part of the body - ie the heart.

So you need to compare that with people deliberately aiming at another part of the body for a fair comparison.

People putting a shotgun under their chin are not deliberately aiming for their brain.

Anyone who deliberately aims for the brain with a shotgun, is not surviving.

I guess I'm worried about the correct angle. I'm thinking of 12G shotgun in my mouth.

The brainstem is basically located behind your ears if you look at the diagrams. If you picture an imaginary line connecting the middle of both ears, you're aiming for the centre point of that line.

With a 12G shotgun, so long as it's pointed at your brain you have a good margin of error in terms of accuracy. It has way more power than you actually need to get the job done.

I'm not sure where I should CTB with the 12G. I live in an apartment..... Lots of smoke detectors in my apartment..... I can possibly do it in the bathroom, close the door and turn on the fan. Or I have a balcony but that faces other apartments... I can always do it on the balcony at night when it's dark out. Really don't want to do it in the car somewhere but I guess that I could...... But where? I thought about going to a public park but I'm sure that's patrolled by law enforcement . And I don't want any passerbys to see me . Any suggestions?
