i have a shotgun. however in all my attempts i never used it . one reason is because i have seen stories of ppl who survived it and they end up deformed and thats like my biggest fear... i always think id rather survive an overdose or hanging than havr half my face gone and deal with that

The problem with a lot of shotgun attempts is that people aim under their chin. They then flinch when they pull the trigger and end up just blowing off their face leaving the brain mostly untouched. You need to aim the gun at your brain (preferably brain stem) which is rather difficult with a long-barreled gun.

Those videos on gore sites don't seem real to me. Look, a rifle pointed in the mouth can't damage the face like that. So either it's something else, or they're fake videos. Try shooting at the range and you will see what power a rifle has. Your whole head blows. Where did they aim to stay alive? It is unrealistic for a person to remain alive.

same reason why i didnt used firearms too, i'm too scared of missing the shot and become deformed or being trapped in my own body without escape, too terrifying for me
