Either one works fine just as long as you have it aimed towards the brain. A mistake a lot of people do is they just point it straight up and end up shooting off only their jaw, not killing them.

While rare, I have seen videos of people surviving when they shoot under the chin.

best bet would be inside the mouth, with the barrel near the boundary of the soft and the hard palate. under the chin is slightly risky as it is difficult to get the angle right.

Leaning forward biting hard onto the yogger with the yogger in the mouth aiming into the back of the head. That should guarantee that the full blast goes through and shatters the entire head and completely destroys the brainstem, and does not merely blow the head out of its way, only destroying the face and frontal lobe in the process. The brain is destroyed before it can register any sense of the blast whatsoever, so death is silent, painless and instantaneous. You might want to do it outdoors though, as it will be very messy for whoever has to clean it up.

Definitely in the mouth. You wanna hit the brain stem for instant death and the best way to do that is in the mouth, with the barrel of the gun pointed slightly upward. You might want to use a selfie stick or something if you have trouble reaching the trigger.

I've seen horror stories about people aiming under the chin and blowing their face off but surviving, disfigured forever.
