Venting Got called a drama queen because I went outside

My mom made the dumb decision to take a day off from work every day for the next month while my siblings are on summer break. She already makes like a few dollars more than our state's minimum wage, so my dad was yelling at her. I work tomorrow so I went outside because I didn't want to hear all that shit. And he fucking called me a drama queen, attention seeking, and all these other horrific names because all I did was put on my shoes to go outside.
If anyone needs to hear this now, do not marry someone just because you lacked parental love and attention or because you want to be "mommied" the rest of your life. My grandparents (boy-mom grandma, emotionally absent/abusive grandpa) created a self centered, empty little man who'd probably only care if my death made him look bad.

I should note my mom is not taking vacation time, she is only being paid for 4 day work weeks. So I'm going to have to pay more to my dad for her portion of the bills

Don't mind him. He's just trying to stir you up and micromanage your behavior because he can't come to terms with his own emotional immaturity.

There's literally nothing dramatic or attention seeking about trying to avoid conflict or wanting to remove yourself from a stressful environment.
