No permanent damage done. I've been advised by my friend to stay here a couple more days, so will relocate back to the other side of the island. Financially, I'm totally fucked and can't see a way out of this situation, so going to have a bit of a think today. I've booked a couple of days at the previous hotel for tomorrow and Saturday. I still have the ratchet strap and bags, so another attempt may well be due shortly.
Also going to look into drug options. I've only got a handful of diazepam remaining, but I'll see what's available. Amitriptyline was available on the other island, so may see if I can get the other drugs required. I've still got domperidone. May also try and search out a vet for N.
Oh, amazingly, I found my microSD card in the pocket of the trousers I was wearing whilst out swimming. Not sure if it still works, but will clean it later today and give it a try.
