Goodbye thread yes or no?

Will you create a goodbye thread before you go? The last time I attempted I did create a goodbye thread but I'm not sure if I'm gonna do it again. Maybe I'm just gonna leave quietly.

I will for sure. You guys are like my best friends and family all rolled into one now, so I want to say goodbye properly, and it means that if I do that at least people won't think I am ignoring them when I don't reply to posts and PMs etc.

Probably not. I've failed three times in three weeks, so the entire process is starting to feel like re-runs --or maybe Groundhog Day. I'm too embarassed by the likelihood of another failure to make a thread that I then need to revisit and say, "nope, sorry folks, I'm still here."

Probably, yeah. I'm not too close to anyone on here (though I do vastly appreciate the presence of some!), but for anyone that is interested in what's happening with me (or is done with me already and wants to see me gone lmao), I'd like them to know.
Would also probably give me a bit of bravery. I'll never be able to act entirely calmly, but typing stuff out does help me get more of a level head sometimes. It'd be nice to go not feeling completely alone

Ofc I might end up dead practicing or messing around anyway, or from random chance, so there's always the possibility I just turn to dust without anyone realising. That's not so bad either

By the way. Have anyone read of the monks who ctb for protest of wrongs in this world to get people to talk about the reasons all over the world. What if all dieing and suffering who choose euthanasia would leave a note saying it's a protest to wrongs in this world. For example letting poor die of hunger, making animals (and people) extremely suffer. Making statement they don't want to live in world like this. Do you think it could make any difference?

Now authorities blame sites like this when people who can't bear the suffering die. They should blame all the people who mistreat others creating that suffering to those who don't have for example terminal cancer. Even then if they don't get enough pain relief, income and humane treatment it's the only way to cope.

When they aren't given any other reasoning from deceased authorities have attacked euthanasia sites. If deceased people had wiped their hard drive investigators have made public clames that it proves they have logged in euthanasia site and make conclusion that the the site is the reason for ctb and responsible for their death.

That have happened a lot.

Don't be embarresd. All people here love you. They would have missed you if you were gone and enjoy your company. They just don't tell others to live for theirs and others sake if their life is only suffering.

If you love someone let them free.

I wish you do what you feel is right. My best advice to all people is to listen to their intuitio and heart.

Sorry, got off topic. Probably won't be making a sad thread. Like TiredHorse stated if I end up making a thread and then failing it would just make it more embarrising. Plus I want my demise to be as private as possible. Posting also makes me kind of anxious and suicide is already anxiety inducing enough as is.

Probably so. I just read that authorities started the campaign to make companies in USA to dilute helium and wanted age limit to buying it because 3 people had died with it. Since their hard drive from computer and phone were wiped clean they concluded they must have been in euthanasia site and gotten advice from there and the conclusion was that their death was the fault of euthanasia chats, helium factories and stores that sell it.

If some one suffers so much they can't make another minute they will find a way.

Why not then to campaign to stop showing all movies and shows with killings, stop games with killing and any news about people dieing.

Most accurate info I know is gotten from news about investigation on euthanasia. And I bet that people who read about their campaign and other protests have gotten info and ideas from there too. "If it's THAT dangerous then it must work!". Same thing with warnings and so many news constantly about gasoline generators and how it kills in seconds. If they didn't want to give ideas then why not just have those warnings in box and instructions.

People should talk about envitable death as part of everyones life peacefully. Only way to stop suicide is to treat others well and fairly and give humane treatment and sufficient pain relief to those who suffer constant pain.

But people who choose euthanasia should delete info from phone and other devices and throw them to trash.

Otherwise the things people will remember is the things you did online before it and will make their conclusion from that. On the other hand people who go through euthanasia wont care anymore for sure.

I think that saying goodbye would make many anxious. Also the more people think about it the more they will stress about it and then it can be too much to handle if they aren't in euthanasia place or have nembutal etc. easier to do.
Especially if you don't have everything planned 100% with backup plans that I believe many don't have.

It's also the one thing people go through alone so it's very private. I may say not to that.

But hey we can say the good things unsaid even if our destiny is to live decades in this planet. No stopping. ;)

But that kind of suck that people can say those kind words and farewells to strangers in here but not to family and friends (or they would get locked up).

This and other places alike are the only places where people don't judge you, understand and love you no matter what.
I don't think that many have friends or anyone else to whom they could talk openly about everything. So it can be therapeutic as well.

I am certain that nobody here thinks less of any of you who thought you could but couldn't go trough with it for any reason and enjoy your company.

I have always thought it meaning if other one would want to end relationship, move to other side of the world or anything like that. And in case of euthanasia when people really want to keep their loved ones but support their choice since the other one just only suffers they often say it.

Ive seen a million people say their goodbyes and say they were CTB and they dont go through with it.

I find that dragging things out and saying goodbye / reflecting on your life puts you in a weird spot where you become too conscious youre about to die and your survival instinct really takes over.


When i quietly decide that its over im not reaching out to anyone, dropping any hints, leaving clues, nothing. I dont even wanna tell myself i just wanna do it.

I agree with this, it can definitely trigger the survival instinct. But on the other hand the people on here mean a lot to me and I feel like they deserve to know that I ctb. I don't know, I'm really torn on this...
