  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I'll kill myself either by SN or Fent OD. I'll be doing it in my own apartment; an apartment that is a property of my family. I do not want to cause irreparable damage and destroy its value. I plan to die in my bed and I want to know if there is anything that I can do to minimize or avoid entirely the side effects of a death such as this. I'll probably be found 3-5 days after.

Is there any covers/hard plastics that I can use? Any way to cover the smell? Perhaps 3 days isn't a long enough time cause such a mess?

I'll advise looking up possible body decomposition timeline for your particular climate, because it is very dependent on the temperature and humidity.

Here is an article that you might find useful : https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/how-to-leave-with-minimal-pain-for-those-who-remain.207480/

to quote from said article (though i suggest you read the entire thing) :

Property Protection:
  • Own waterproof sheet
  • Plastic pad under sheet (medical supplies)
  • Towels around body in case of fluid leakage or vomiting
  • Money to cover damages - envelope with sufficient amount in local currency and note
  • Door sign in a language that the person discovering the body (housekeeping staff) can be expected to understand; use automatic translator if necessary
Door Sign (in language expected to be understood by hotel staff): "WARNING - DO NOT OPEN Please call reception or emergency services. Deceased person inside." Placed on second door in the room or on the floor.

seconding the other commenter around humidity. in my tropical area that is definitely enough to start to smell.

not for yourself, but put a trash bag over your head. get a tight elastic band. hold the band out in your hand while you wait for the sn or drugs to take effect. that way whoever finds you only sees the bag, not your terribly discolored face (sn and drugs will do this. former addict. turns skin blue from lack of oxygen)
