Hello, I am 18 years old. I don't want to purchase any sort of drugs. I plan on dying by stabbing myself at a cabin that on this following Sunday, no one has any access to for 24 hours. I am bring the thickest knife in my house, a serrated kitchen knife. I am wondering if it will be able to do that job well. The blade is thick and has edges around it. Also, before I registered my account to SS, I saw a feature on the site that allowed me to send a farewell letter or delayed email thru SS. I want to know where that is because I do not see it anymore. Renting the cabin took away all the money I have so I have no time to get a better knife. Nor any other methods such as hanging will do because I don't have the money to spend on rope. The reason I rented out a cabin is becuase no one will be able to see me killing myself. SN or SA require soical engineering and I am not a fan of that. Any other for too dangerous for me.

Well yes, stabbing yourself is bad for your health but it's also excruciatingly painful and hard to do. Unless you have nerves of steel or a truck load of alcohol it's likely to fail and put you in a worse position than you're in now

I agree, if you could Possibly try another method. .. Anything with a knife is just asking for trouble Imo.

I think that a method like that would be difficult to even attempt because the survival instinct would kick in, and I believe that attempting would very likely just lead to more suffering and damage. I mean there is a reason as to why stabbing isn't included in the suicide resource compilation section on here but anyway I wish you the best.

If you have access to a secluded cabin at least consider carbon monoxide poisoning with charcoal.
Cutting will be very painful and from my limited information you also would need warm temperatures
to stop the blood from clotting.Similar threads
