Venting "God" is the most mind-boggling manipulative and sadistic being ever.

I mean really think about this for a second. If "God" was real as written about in the Christian bible(a prime example), he would literally be the most evil thing in existence *not "*Satan". I mean literally WORST than Hitler, I will give this simple example to prove this: the way he supposedly designed humans to be. This supposed "God" made us(his "greatest" creation btw) in a way that makes PAIN the most real and vivid sensation we can feel. Physical pain is so intense can literally KILL you, and emotional pain can scar you FOREVER.

Pain feels more real and visceral than love, happiness, any form of pleasure, NOTHING we could ever feel is more real to us than suffering pain. PAIN IS MORE REAL THAN GOD TO US.

There are SO SO SO many glaring problems with the idea of an all-loving God, you could literally debate points against it all-day long. The only reason you could ever "love" or worship this God is the primal FEAR of his power being use to torture you.

It maddening really he expects us to BLINDLY worship him above all else, he doesn't speak to us, he doesn't make himself known to us in ANY real way.

If you believe in the Christian God you are only adding another layer of suffering to your already unforgiving and brutal existence.

I've never believed in anything like that, I personally just believe the existence of life to be a terrible, horrific tragedy with no deeper purpose or meaning behind it, it's all senseless, I know I'd never wish for something as cruel and torturous as existence no matter what, it terrifies me how there is no limit as to how much agony one can feel as long as they exist.

This. I was religious since childhood but later in life I abandoned all religion. I still remember the agony. When I hit rock bottom and prayed and prayed and prayed incessantly, crying so much and literally just banging my head on the wall and pulling my hair in despair. And there was nothing in response. Nothing. For some time the confirmation bias (typical for religion) was still strong. But at one point I was like - oh wait a minute, there really is no one listening!

I resonate with this comment so, so much. I've lurking on this forum for a long time, and see your posts often, and it's like I could've written them myself. I wish people would just see the truth about life and existence as a whole, it's all useless.

Could not agree more, the bible was made to control what people think, and make them do what benefits the few how hold power in the church.
