Hi all

Weird question. I have my method set our and I'm just waiting for some items to arrive (going for SN if it matters).

The problem is that whilst covid 19 is going on, I'm worried about my cats being left. I can leave enough food and make sure their litter boxes are clean but I need someone to come and sort them out and take them somewhere safe.

If I tell friends or family my plans they'll probably call an ambulance or something so I was thinking I could call the non emergency police after I've drank the SN. but I don't want them to arrive in time for me to be saved. Does anyone have any advice on how I can get around this? I don't want to suffer any more, but I don't want my cats to suffer either.

Thank you

Thanks. This will be so hard, but once the stuff arrives I will do this. I wanted my best friend to have them and she agreed if I died whilst they were alive (when I was writing my will) she would take them. I guess I'll need a story of why I can't give them to her right now when I take them to a shelter, as I'd like to tell them to give them to her. Any thoughts are welcome.

This idea from me might be what you're looking for, with your friend listed as the emergency contact! :smiling:

One additional positive of my plan in your situation is that animals will often eat human vomit, either out of curiosity or hunger. There's a chance any vomiting you do will contain enough SN to be harmful to your pets after you're gone.

There are lots of animal charities that help in these situations where pets are left behind. Try not to worry, they will be ok I'm sure ❤️

Thank you all, this has been really helpful. Don't want them to die prematurely though, so think I will let them go before hand x
