Lol!
Thank you for making me smile!I might've had, lets just say, some interesting dreams during puberty
Trans and sexually confused people are a community that gravitate around suicide quite a lot.Wow, I'm honestly surprised at the diversity!
No shitTrans and sexually confused people are a community that gravitate around suicide quite a lot.
We are not confused but instead put up with a lot of shit from straight cis men
Haha. There you go, you said it.We are not confused but instead put up with a lot of shit from straight cis men
CuddlesCis Male / Pan
Considered working through therapy on possible thoughts of being trans. Since I've had the early childhood moments of always wanting to be a woman. Not really much to work for anymore. I just don't have the energy. I know my parents would be disappointed if I were to transition and that thought alone makes me so sad.
Have you been raped and sexually assaultedHaha. There you go, you said it.
Edit: you'd think the LGBT community would go easy on generalising groups of people based on their sexual preference, it always amuse me, the hypocrisy.
Ive been beaten by my step mother as a child. She was a straigh women.Have you been raped and sexually assaulted
I'm not talking about beatings but friggin rapeIve been beaten by my step mother as a child. She was a straigh women.
Does that make me entitled to hate on straight women and blame them for stuff?
So? What's your point exactly?I'm not talking about beatings but friggin rape
No but don't imply trans people are sexually confusedSo? What's your point exactly?
Are you implying that my suffering was lesser to your's?
Or maybe that some things people do might be exemptions and it would be right to blame their actions on their sex or sexual preferences?
Fair enough. Don't ever shame a person to be white, male and heterosexual again, thank you.No but don't imply trans people are sexually confused
Lol don't make me laughFair enough. Don't ever shame a person to be white, male and heterosexual again, thank you.
You could'nt prove my point more effectively.Lol don't make me laugh
You could'nt prove my point more effectively.
You are no better than what you hate.
before this goes any further, i think this all started off from a misread of the original response. i read his response as not necessarily equating trans with those who are sexually confused, but rather an observation that members of those groups struggle with being suicidal. of course, i can't read minds. We are not confused but instead put up with a lot of shit from straight cis men
One must be very deep in his head to think for a second that that "cis" people do not face hardships.I'm not exactly sure what the dispute is currently but cishet folks most certainly do not have to look a normalcy in the face or otherwise answer to the same level of alienation that queer and trans folks do. They don't face the same systemic violence either.

How can one be so self centered.

It might be a different story in the US, as im taking a wild guess here. It's not that cis people don't face hardships. That claim would be incoherent given death, car accidents, cancer, etc.. so of course that is not a thing that anybody says in the history of ever. It's that cis people regularly feel it necessary to delegitimize the systemic nature of the violence and alienation that queer/trans folks face, in exactly the way you are here.

But here in Canada. Gay trans and such are ideolized as heroes and brave people, comparable to an untouchable class to god forbid, you can't say anything wrong about them.
While some, if most of them, are free to demonize and attack verbally those who's only crime is to be born male and to be heterosexual.
Listen. All im saying is you can't fight sexism with sexism and you can't fight homophobia with heterophobia.Oh you made me chortle with this. No, white heterosexual cis males are not attacked verbally or physically simply for being white heterosexual cis males. I'm sorry, I have been to Canada although that isn't a prerequisite or qualifier to have an intelligible discussion or to refute ridiculous claims about the region or about anything at all. LGBTQ folks illustrating, as i've mentioned several times now the alienation and isolation experienced from facing a violent normalcy, and facing actual violence from white heterosexual cis males and females, is like nothing a white heterosexual cis male has ever experienced in their entire life. This isn't to say that violence and alienation doesn't happen to others, but that it is not systemic and thus does not carry with it the same social, psychological, and physical fallout.
Your responses so far in this thread have read like you want to trivialize what certainly people routinely have to experience, and then possibly for the only end that you can claim to be as oppressed or more so. That is ridiculous and you don't have to do that, I get it, life is shit, you do not have to prove anything to me or anybody else. Posse-up with me, and with others, and we can share our experiences and be better for it sans the 'confused sexuality' and 'equivalent experience' nonsense.
Listen. All im saying is you can't fight sexism with sexism and you can't fight homophobia with heterophobia.
Lol. Ok?Which isn't really saying much of anything coherent. Ciao.
Lol. Ok?
